Hey readers
! On last Monday I did a London Webquest
for the class, so now I’m going to tell you about one of the places I write
down I would visit in a study trip to London.
If I’d
visit this city the first place I’ll go it be the Hampton Court Palace. It is
one of the Historic Royal Palaces, located in the south west of London, next to
the River Thames. To get there I’d have to take the train from London Waterloo
to Kingston, and then take a bus from Kingston to Hampton Court Palace; the
tube is not available there because the palace is out of the city.
The ticket
prize for full-time students like me costs £14.85, which
could be lower if I get the ticket online.
This palace
was Henry VIII’s favourite, so the visits are planned to learn about him and
his court’ s life there.
I’d like to
visit Hampton Court Palace precisely for that; Henry VIII must have been the
most eccentric monarch in UK’s History, I think, because of his multiple
marriages and the church’s schism. In my opinion Monarchy its scandalous in a negative
way, but Henry VIII is the scandalous king in England’s History, leaving out the
decapitate people, his story its pretty juicy.. I hope it doesn’t sounds too cruel, I say it with all due
respect xd
London have important place with a long history!
